Singapore stablecoin payments company dtcpay has completed a $25 million Series A after Japan’s SBI Group joined the round as a strategic investor.

SBI invested through SBI Ventures Asset and the SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund. Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek also participated, while Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India led the earlier tranche.

dtcpay did not disclose SBI’s individual investment, the ownership stake attached to it or the company’s valuation.

Series A Expands From $10M to $25M

dtcpay previously announced a $10 million Series A tranche led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. The completed financing now brings the total round to $25 million. The company also raised $16.5 million in pre-Series A funding in 2023.

dtcpay plans to use the latest capital to expand its product suite and merchant network. Its 2026 roadmap includes a redesigned business portal for enterprise customers and additional features inside its consumer app.

SBI Invests Through Two Vehicles in $25M Round

dtcpay provides infrastructure that allows businesses and consumers to accept, hold and transact in stablecoins alongside fiat currencies.

In Singapore, Digital Treasures Center Pte. Ltd. holds a Major Payment Institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore covering six payment services, including digital payment tokens, cross-border transfers, merchant acquisition and e-money issuance.

SBI’s participation adds a major Japanese financial group to the investor base as dtcpay expands its regulated payments infrastructure.

Funding Targets Merchant Network and Regulated-Market Expansion

dtcpay said the completed Series A will support expansion of its merchant network, product development and entry into additional regulated markets.

The company has not disclosed revenue, payment volume or merchant numbers alongside the financing announcement. It also has not broken down how much of the $25 million came from each investor.

For the remainder of 2026, dtcpay plans to roll out its revamped enterprise portal and additional consumer-app features while continuing to expand its stablecoin payment infrastructure.
