Wallets linked to Trump Media & Technology Group moved 4,259.34 Bitcoin to a Crypto.com-labeled address on Nov. 5. Arkham’s displayed transaction data valued the transfers at approximately $344 million.

The transfers come ahead of a Nov. 30 date when noteholders can demand cash repayment from the company. A Bitcoin sale has not been confirmed.

Bitcoin Moves From Wallets Labeled as Debt Collateral

The movement comprised two transfers of 2,140.03 BTC and 2,119.31 BTC, reported at approximately 02:17 UTC. Both went to the same destination address.

Arkham labeled the sending addresses “2028 Convertible Notes Collateral.” Those labels associate the wallets with Trump Media’s debt arrangements but do not establish the purpose of the transfers.

Trump Media, the parent of Truth Social, had pledged 4,260.73 BTC against its convertible notes as of June 30. Withdrawals and distributions were subject to requirements under the debt agreement, with restrictions due to end no later than the notes’ May 29, 2028, maturity.

The amount moved is close to that earlier collateral balance. However, the transactions alone do not show that the collateral restrictions were lifted or that ownership of the Bitcoin changed.

Crypto.com Has Previously Received Coins for Custody Management

Trump Media has moved Bitcoin to Crypto.com before without describing the transfers as sales. In August, wallets linked to the company transferred about 2,628 BTC, worth approximately $165 million at the time, to the platform.

The company said that movement involved custody management and was not a sale. Crypto.com has served as one of its Bitcoin custody partners, giving those earlier transfers an operational explanation beyond selling.

Trump Media previously reported holding approximately 14,139 BTC, including pledged coins, as of July 31. That dated balance covers more than the wallets involved in Thursday’s movement and cannot establish the company’s current total holdings.

November 30 Repurchase Option Could Require Substantial Cash

Trump Media issued the convertible notes in May 2025 with an original principal amount of $1 billion. The notes pay no regular interest and were issued at a 4% discount, generating $960 million in gross proceeds.

Although their scheduled maturity date is 2028, holders may require cash repurchases on November 30, 2026. They can exercise this right for all or part of their notes, with 100% of the principal being repurchased, plus any applicable accrued and unpaid interest.

Trump Media warned that repurchase requests could require up to approximately $1 billion in cash. It identified refinancing through a new credit facility, other borrowing and additional equity financing among its potential responses.

While issuing more shares could dilute current owners, repurchases would limit cash available for operations and working capital.

Should those steps prove inadequate, the business said it might have to sell Bitcoin or other digital assets to cover the repurchases. It also cautioned that failing to satisfy a required repurchase would result in defaults under the debt agreement and under other borrowing agreements.
