Robinhood has expanded its in-app social trading network to eligible U.S. customers, adding cryptocurrency charts, portfolio allocations and performance-sharing tools. The company announced broader access on Sept. 29, following a limited beta launched in March.

Robinhood Adds Charts and Portfolio Sharing

Robinhood Social combines market discussions with account-linked trading information. Users can share charts, portfolio snapshots and verified profit-and-loss figures, alongside commentary.

The network covers stocks, options, futures, cryptocurrencies, and prediction markets. Participants can follow other traders and choose what performance information to share.

During the March beta, users could post executed trades in stocks, single-leg options, crypto, and prediction markets. They could also view other participants’ daily and one-year performance and trading histories.

Robinhood Requires Manual Trading From the Feed

Customers can manually place trades from their feed. Following another trader does not automatically authorize copying that person’s transactions.

Robinhood said customer identities are verified through know-your-customer checks. Access also requires eligibility checks and completion of Social’s onboarding process.

Shared posts and profile statistics are visible according to users’ settings. Participants can deactivate or delete their Social profiles, although underlying financial transaction records remain subject to retention requirements.

Robinhood Plans Earnings Streams and Legend Integration

Robinhood’s September announcement outlined a live earnings feature for watching company calls while trading. It also listed verified market commentators, news, and company profiles as forthcoming additions.

The company plans to add a dedicated Social widget to Robinhood Legend, its browser-based trading platform. Its announcement described that integration as coming soon, rather than available at launch.
