OpenSea Adds Solana NFT Trading

OpenSea has added Solana NFTs to its multi-chain marketplace, allowing users to discover, buy and sell collections from the network alongside assets from more than 25 other blockchains.

The August 31 rollout expands OpenSea’s existing Solana support beyond fungible tokens and restores NFT trading more than four years after the marketplace first introduced Solana collections in beta.

Solana Collections Join OpenSea’s 25-Chain Marketplace

Collectors can now trade Solana-based NFTs directly through OpenSea. Collections available at launch include Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, Collector Crypt and Phygitals.

The integration also gives Solana creators access to OpenSea’s wider marketplace, which supports assets across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche and other networks.

OpenSea rebuilt its platform around OS2 to combine fungible-token and NFT trading across multiple chains. Solana token trading was added before NFT support arrived.

Solana NFT Trading Returns More Than Four Years After April 2022 Beta

OpenSea first introduced Solana NFT trading in beta in April 2022 with support for 165 collections.

That integration later ended after struggling to gain market share against Solana-native marketplaces.

Solana returned to OpenSea through OS2 in April 2025 for fungible-token trading, with the company saying NFT support would follow.

The latest release extends OS2’s Solana integration to digital collectibles alongside its existing token-trading support.

OpenSea’s platform also supports cross-chain swaps and portfolio tracking across its broader network lineup.

The company has not disclosed expected trading volumes for Solana NFTs or announced exclusive collections tied to the rollout.
