Orbs Invests in CRYMBO to Expand Institutional Digital-Asset Services
- CRYMBO secured a strategic investment from Orbs on November 4.
- The funding aims to help CRYMBO scale its digital-asset infrastructure services.

CRYMBO announced a strategic investment from Orbs on Nov. 4 to expand infrastructure helping banks, payment providers and brokers offer digital-asset services. CRYMBO’s platform connects custody, payments, liquidity, and compliance providers through one integration, reducing the need to connect those systems separately.
The investment amount, valuation, and ownership stake were not disclosed. CRYMBO Chief Executive Eyal Daskal said:
“The backing would help the company scale and reach more customers [….]”
Institutions Connect Providers Through One Platform
CRYMBO lets institutions coordinate digital-asset services under their own brands while choosing the providers behind them. That gives banks and payment companies flexibility over custody, banking connections and transaction monitoring rather than requiring one supplier for every function.
The company’s infrastructure integrates more than 75 providers and has processed over $2 billion in transaction volume. That measures transactions handled through the platform, rather than company revenue or customer assets currently held.
Its supported workflows include converting between traditional currencies and crypto, settling payments and reconciling records. CRYMBO describes these capabilities as a way to coordinate customer onboarding, approvals and transaction processing through a single interface.
CRYMBO Holds No Client Funds or Keys
CRYMBO never holds client funds or private keys. The custody arrangements and providers selected for each deployment therefore remain relevant to how customer assets are safeguarded.
Institutions also remain the regulated businesses operating under their own licenses. Deploying CRYMBO’s software does not itself authorize a bank or broker to offer every digital-asset product or enter additional markets.
Aptos’s ecosystem directory notes that the CRYMBO Oracle verifies identity off-chain and applies cryptographic attestations before transactions proceed, without recording personal data on-chain. This allows identity checks to inform blockchain transactions while keeping personal information off the public ledger.
Orbs Brings Trading Infrastructure Experience
Orbs develops infrastructure for spot and perpetual-futures trading, including liquidity aggregation and advanced order execution. Its investment connects that trading expertise with CRYMBO’s operational infrastructure, although the companies did not announce a new joint trading product.
Orbs Chief Executive Ran Hammer described CRYMBO’s compliance, identity and operational capabilities as complementary to its execution business. The companies did not disclose a timetable for specific new customer services.
