TOKEN2049 Singapore is bringing about 25,000 attendees from more than 160 countries to Marina Bay Sands on Oct. 7 and 8 after selling out ahead of the opening. The event combines a large exhibition floor with discussions spanning crypto markets, decentralized finance, tokenization, stablecoins and institutional adoption.

About 500 exhibitors are taking part across all five floors of Marina Bay Sands, while 250 speakers are scheduled across six stages. More than 1,000 side events are also taking place around Singapore during the wider conference week.

TOKEN2049 co-founder Alex Fiskum said the conference will include several announcements alongside the scheduled discussions. He said six stages would operate simultaneously across the two days.

“Six stages will run in parallel across the two days, with some major announcements set to be made.”

Investors Have Several Major Sessions to Watch

The speaker lineup brings together crypto founders, asset managers, exchange executives and traditional financial institutions. Participants include Polymarket founder Shayne Coplan, Hyperliquid Labs CEO Jeff Yan, Nasdaq Chair and CEO Adena Friedman, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson, Arthur Hayes, Tom Lee and Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.

For market-focused attendees, several sessions stand out. Tom Lee is scheduled to discuss whether the current crypto recovery is developing into a broader bull market, while Yan will address Hyperliquid’s approach to financial infrastructure and decentralized markets.

Arthur Hayes is also appearing in a keynote and a separate discussion alongside Balaji Srinivasan. Another session featuring the Winklevoss twins will focus on Zcash, putting privacy-focused cryptocurrencies on the agenda during a period of renewed attention around ZEC.

Tokenization and Institutional Capital Take Center Stage

Institutional adoption is one of the clearest themes across the two-day program. Jenny Johnson is scheduled to join Binance co-CEO Richard Teng and Canton CEO Yuval Rooz for a discussion covering tokenized markets, global liquidity and on-chain settlement.

Johnson will also appear in a session examining the next wave of institutional capital. For investors watching the connection between traditional finance and crypto, those discussions could provide insight into how large asset managers are approaching tokenized securities, blockchain settlement and digital-asset exposure.

Prediction markets are another area to watch. Shayne Coplan is appearing in sessions focused on Polymarket and the role prediction markets can play in turning real-world events into tradable information.

Conference Week Extends Beyond Marina Bay Sands

TOKEN2049’s broader program extends well beyond the main-stage discussions. Networking sessions, investor gatherings, developer meetings and company events are taking place across Singapore throughout the week, creating additional opportunities for fundraising, product announcements and industry partnerships.

The TOKEN2049 Origins Hackathon brings together 200 developers for a 36-hour building event with a $150,000 prize pool. The NEXUS startup competition will also award $250,000 to finalists, while TOKEN2049 Institutional on Oct. 8 will bring together 250 senior participants from traditional finance and digital assets.

With exchanges, asset managers, blockchain developers and market infrastructure companies sharing the same program, the conference is positioned around where crypto and traditional finance are increasingly overlapping. Discussions about tokenization, institutional capital, decentralized trading and prediction markets are likely to provide some of the clearest signals from the two-day event.
