Shibarium’s reported blockchain reorganization issue has been resolved, according to an update attributed to developer Kaal Dhairya, while infrastructure provider dRPC still needs to complete its migration into the network’s updated environment.
Longtime Shiba Inu community member Mazrael relayed the Sept. 19 update, saying Dhairya considered the reorg solved. Shibarium has not published a detailed technical report explaining what caused the reorg, how long it lasted or which blocks were affected.
dRPC Still Needs to Complete Infrastructure Transition
The remaining dRPC work forms part of a broader migration of Shibarium’s network infrastructure rather than a separate reported chain incident.
Shibarium moved away from older public RPC infrastructure in late 2025. Its current documentation lists rpc.shibarium.shib.io as the main RPC endpoint for the Layer 2 network, with chain ID 109 and BONE as its native asset.
dRPC still needs to complete its transition into the updated environment. No public deadline has been announced. No disclosure reviewed for this story has attributed the reported reorg to an exploit, stolen assets or compromised validator keys.
Bor and Heimdall Peer Lists Receive Full Rotation
Node operators also received replacement peer configurations for both Bor and Heimdall. A Sept. 15 update said new Bor static nodes and Heimdall persistent peers had been published, replacing the previous set rather than supplementing it.
Shibarium’s current node documentation also tells operators to remove retired sentry addresses and use the latest official peer details. Bor produces blocks and executes EVM transactions, while Heimdall manages validator sets and checkpoints.
Shibariumscan Reaches 53% Reindexing
Infrastructure work also remains visible on Shibariumscan. The explorer showed 53% of blocks indexed in a Sept. 20 snapshot as it rebuilt its chain data. That figure measures explorer reindexing and should not be treated as a measure of overall Shibarium network recovery.
Shibarium Validator Staking also remains under maintenance following a separate infrastructure migration that began in April. The official ecosystem status page lists the service as unavailable and does not provide a completion date.
The reported reorg issue is therefore resolved, while dRPC migration, explorer reindexing and other infrastructure work remain unfinished.
