Grant Cardone Lists $80M Bombardier Jet for Bitcoin After Trump Warning
Real estate investor Grant Cardone has listed his 2024 Bombardier Global 7500 for $80 million after President Donald Trump threatened to block Bombardier aircraft sales in the United States. Cardone followed the dollar listing with a 1,025 Bitcoin asking price, while his investment business has separately expanded its use of Bitcoin.
Cardone Lists Global 7500 After Trump Threat
Trump threatened on Truth Social on Sept. 7 to block Bombardier aircraft sales in the U.S. unless the company manufactures them domestically. He did not announce a formal regulatory order or explain how such a restriction would be implemented.
Cardone listed his 2024 Global 7500 later that day for $80 million, describing the aircraft as having four cabins and about 200 flight hours. In his X post, he referred directly to Trump’s Bombardier warning and wrote “Supply & Demand,” indicating that he viewed the threatened restriction as relevant to the listing.
Jet Gets a 1,025 Bitcoin Asking Price
On Sept. 8, Cardone posted a second offer pricing the aircraft at 1,025 BTC. The Bitcoin amount was broadly comparable to the $80 million dollar asking price around the time of the post.
The listing does not establish that a buyer has agreed to pay in Bitcoin or that a transaction has taken place. Cardone has also not publicly disclosed settlement, custody, or conversion terms for a potential Bitcoin purchase.
Cardone Capital Already Uses Bitcoin in Real Estate Funds
The Bitcoin option follows Cardone’s broader use of digital assets through his investment business. Cardone Capital says some of its investment funds use rental income to make recurring Bitcoin purchases, while other offerings combine real estate exposure with Bitcoin allocations.
Cardone Capital currently advertises several real estate and Bitcoin funds. The company says its strategy uses property cash flow to accumulate Bitcoin over time, although investment performance remains exposed to changes in Bitcoin prices.
Bombardier Disputes Implications of Trump Warning
Trump’s comments came amid renewed trade tensions between the U.S. and Canada. Bombardier responded by emphasizing its existing American operations and supply chain, including thousands of U.S. employees and suppliers across dozens of states.
The president’s statement remains a threat rather than an implemented ban. Cardone’s $80 million and 1,025 BTC listings reflect his response to the announcement, while any effect on Bombardier aircraft sales in the U.S. depends on whether the administration takes formal action.
