Robinhood Chain RWA Volume Hits $390M
Robinhood Chain recorded $390 million in daily trading volume tied to real-world assets on September 1, with memecoin-stock pairs accounting for more than half of the activity.
Memecoins paired against Robinhood Stock Tokens generated a record $217 million in volume, while direct tokenized-stock trading reached another high at $127 million. Roughly $46 million came from other activity classified as RWA-linked across the network.
Memecoin-Stock Pairs Generate Record $217M in One Day
The trading structure allows memecoins to use tokenized stocks rather than stablecoins or ETH as the other side of liquidity pools. That means trading in a memecoin can simultaneously generate volume for the Robinhood Stock Token paired with it.
Pools have appeared around tokens tracking companies including Nvidia, Tesla, Intel, and Roblox. The latest $217 million record exceeded the $127 million generated from direct tokenized-stock trading on the same day.
Tokenized RWA Market Value Climbs Above $84M
The market value of tokenized real-world assets on Robinhood Chain has passed $84 million, up from about $12.8 million in mid-July. Robinhood launched the public mainnet on July 1 as an Ethereum Layer 2 built using Arbitrum technology, with Stock Tokens among its core products.
The tokens provide economic exposure to stocks and ETFs but are not shares in the underlying companies. They are tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets Jersey and do not provide ownership or voting rights in the referenced companies.
Robinhood Chain DEX Volume Reaches $1.55B
Robinhood Chain processed about $1.55 billion in total decentralized exchange volume on September 1, while value deposited across its DeFi protocols exceeded $750 million.
RWA-linked activity therefore accounted for roughly one-quarter of the network’s daily DEX volume.
Memecoin-stock pairs contributed $217 million of that activity, making them the largest component of Robinhood Chain’s RWA-linked trading on September 1.
