Revolut Rolls Out EURR Stablecoin in Europe

Revolut has begun rolling out EURR, its first stablecoin offering, to selected customers in Denmark, Poland and Portugal, with wider availability across the European Economic Area expected later in 2026.

The euro-backed token is integrated into Revolut’s retail app, giving eligible customers an on-chain route between euros and crypto. EURR will also support external wallets and multiple blockchain networks.

Bridge Issues EURR Under Luxembourg E-Money License

Bridge Building S.A., the Luxembourg entity of Stripe-owned stablecoin infrastructure company Bridge, issues EURR. The token is designed to maintain a value of €1 and is backed by reserves held and managed by Bridge Building in accordance with applicable Markets in Crypto-Assets requirements.

Bridge Building is authorized in Luxembourg as an electronic money institution and supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier. Under MiCA, euro-referenced e-money tokens must be issued by an authorized credit or electronic money institution.

EURR holders have the right to redeem tokens with Bridge Building at par value, subject to the issuer’s onboarding requirements and applicable redemption process.

Revolut Adds EURR to Retail App and Revolut X

Revolut Digital Assets Europe acts as the offeror for EURR and is admitting the token to trading on Revolut X, according to the company’s crypto risk disclosure.

Inside the retail app, eligible customers can use EURR as a euro-denominated on-chain rail between fiat and crypto. Revolut also says the token can move to external wallets rather than remaining solely within its platform.

Bridge data currently shows EURR on Ethereum and Polygon, while Revolut says broader multi-network support forms part of the rollout.

Wider EEA Rollout is Planned Later in 2026

Denmark, Poland, and Portugal are the first markets in the phased deployment. Revolut expects EURR to reach additional EEA markets later this year.

EURR is also the first step in a broader stablecoin strategy. Revolut says it is developing stablecoins denominated in additional currencies through separate regulatory pathways, although it has not identified those currencies or announced launch dates.

The next confirmed step is the wider EEA rollout as Revolut expands EURR beyond its initial three markets.
