SQD has partnered with Google Cloud to provide blockchain indexing and data pipelines for its Web3 Blockchain Analytics offering, initially bringing validated records from 10 networks into BigQuery.
The datasets cover each supported blockchain from genesis rather than beginning when the integration went live. SQD has not identified the 10 networks included in the initial release.
SQD Applies Six Cryptographic Checks Before Blockchain Data is Served
SQD 360, the company’s enterprise arm, provides the indexing infrastructure and data pipelines behind the integration. SQD says every block passes six cryptographic checks before the data is served, including verification against multiple sources and checks of transaction roots and state roots.
The company says the process is designed to improve the completeness and correctness of records made available for analysis. The same validation framework applies as datasets remain current rather than covering only historical records.
Ten Datasets Cover Supported Chains From Genesis to Current Blocks
Inside BigQuery, developers and companies can analyze indexed blockchain data through SQL without operating their own nodes or maintaining a separate indexer for each network.
Google Cloud describes Blockchain Analytics as indexed blockchain data made available through BigQuery specifically to remove the overhead of running nodes or developing and maintaining indexing infrastructure.
Google Cloud has offered blockchain datasets through BigQuery since making Bitcoin history publicly available in February 2018. Ethereum followed later that year, with additional blockchain datasets added in subsequent expansions.
SQD Plans More Chains and Agentic Features After Initial Rollout
SQD says the Google Cloud partnership will expand beyond the initial 10 networks, with additional chains, broader capabilities and what it calls “agentic enhancement” planned.
The company has not disclosed which networks will be added next or provided a timetable or technical details for the agent-focused features.
SQD also has not disclosed financial terms for the Google Cloud partnership or explained how the first 10 chains were selected.
The immediate change is that SQD-validated blockchain histories are now available through the same BigQuery environment used for analytics and other cloud-based data workloads.
