Ripple has signed a multi-year partnership with Florida Athletics that will put the XRP logo on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during the 2026 football season. The agreement also covers digital properties, event signage and financial technology education for student-athletes and the wider University of Florida community.

XRP Branding Comes to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Florida Athletics announced the agreement on Sept. 4, with XRP branding set to appear prominently on the football field. The partnership extends beyond game-day advertising to Florida Athletics’ digital channels and other event signage.

Financial terms and the exact length of the agreement were not disclosed in Florida’s announcement. The university also did not announce plans to accept XRP for tickets, merchandise or other payments.

University of Florida Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin said:

“Ripple has established itself as an innovative leader in financial technology, and we’re excited to welcome XRP to Gator Nation.”

Ripple Will Support Finance and Technology Education

Ripple will also support programs covering traditional finance and digital assets for Florida student-athletes and members of the campus community. Florida Athletics did not provide details on the program’s funding, curriculum or launch schedule.

The announcement describes the arrangement primarily as a sponsorship and education partnership. It does not state that Florida will hold XRP, process transactions through the XRP Ledger or integrate Ripple’s payments infrastructure into university operations.

Florida Deal Follows Ripple’s Kansas Athletics Partnership

The Florida agreement follows a separate multi-year partnership between Ripple and Kansas Athletics announced in July. That deal placed the XRP logo on uniforms across Kansas athletic programs and included funding for finance and technology education.

Kansas also launched the XRP-backed Rock Chalk Fan Club in September as part of the wider relationship. Memberships provide access to exclusive content and other athletics benefits, although the university lists annual membership prices in dollars rather than XRP. The two agreements give XRP prominent branding across major college sports programs without tying the sponsorships directly to token transactions.

Deal Adds XRP Exposure Without Direct Token Use

XRP is the native asset of the XRP Ledger. Ripple separately develops products across payments, custody, and other financial services, some of which can involve XRP.

Florida’s announcement presents the partnership as a way to introduce XRP branding to its sports audience rather than as a new blockchain deployment. The XRP logo debuted at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during Florida’s 2026 football season. Any expansion beyond branding and education would require a separate announcement from Ripple or the university.
